Bailu couldn't help but think those thoughts. Dan Heng acted like any parent would over their child. Worried when she ran off, scolding when she acted up, kind hugs when she was upset, teaching her the right way to do things... was it her fault that he had fallen under that category in her head? Dad. Bailu wished that things were different. That she was a normal child and Dan Heng was her father.

Jing Yuan was the one to help him through most of the issues that came with raising a kid. So when Jing Yuan was the one needing help, Dan Heng jumped at the chance. After all, A helping hand was always appreciated.

Direct Sequel to A Helping Hand...
Yanqing was excited. A trip amongst the stars with Bailu and his dads? Amazing. He was super excited... at first. Nerves kicked in shortly after nightfall on the first day. Dan Heng changing forms, Bailu being scared because of it, a full-out hunt for Vidyadhara by some rabid crazy fans, meeting the great hero Arlan from Dan Heng's stories... this trip was shaping up to be one for the history books.
Now if only he could get his dads to stop being clueless that would be amazing.
