Summary
'You're not always saying sorry in the songs."
"No," Regina replied. Janis thought she saw a hint of color when she glanced over to the driver beside her before looking away again.
"So what does that mean? I mean I know you're sorry, but what? You like me? You want to hold my hand and be my girlfriend?"
OR
The sequel to 'All I Have To Do... ' that only I asked for, which is second in what will be a series of stories that only I asked for. Really it's just self indulgent song fics and healing and soft Rejanis moments in Regina's Jeep.

Summary
"Do you feel guilty for liking me, knowing more about how I felt back then?"
"I mean, I kind of did feel guilty before that but yeah. More than hurt or betrayed, your lyrics were lonely. I abandon you - us, and that seemed to be worse than any names I could have called you. So I'm not sure I feel guilty for how I feel about you, but I should have kept the playlist to myself."
Third story in the 'Regina George Apology Tour' series, this story takes place immediately after 'Even If', where Regina reflects on Janis's playlist from after her betrayal.

Summary
Reginald: Before I forget again, the lyrics in a lot of these songs state that the artists were betrayed, abandoned, and forgotten. I betrayed you, Jay and I abandoned you, but never were you forgotten. I understand how my actions lead you to think so, but I always thought about you. I'm still always thinking of you, especially tonight.
Reginald: Just thought you should know

"Math is hard," Janis agreed, "but I don't think she's burdened by helping you. Like all of us, she wants you to succeed. So... you not telling anyone who Spencer is may have upset Gretchen because she thought you had ditched her for a boyfriend or hook up or whatever." When the other girl didn't speak, Janis looked over at her. Though Karen looked deep in thought, the gaze wasn't far away and slightly glassy as Janis would have expected. "Karen?"
Sixth in the Regina George Apology Tour series, Janis gets a surprise visitor and has an even more surprising conversation.

"So... What about Jason? Was he, like, your beard or something?" Regina asked after a few moments of snacking between them.
"Was Aaron yours?" Gretchen snapped back. She gasped and brought her hands to her mouth, her eyes wide.
To both of their surprise, Regina let out a laugh. "Touche."
Seventh in the Regina George Apology Tour series, Regina and Gretchen have a deep conversation about their past and future friendship, as well as what it would take to be with the ones they love.

"Can you promise me something?" Janis asked a moment later after pulling on her bottom lip a moment in thought.
"I don't know," Regina admitted honestly.
"Okay," Janis replied.
When it looked as if Janis would not continue, Regina gently took her hand and said, "That wasn't a no, Jay. What do you want me to promise you?"
"Maybe it's not you promising me anything. More like us making a pact."
"What kind of pact?"
Eighth in the Regina George Apology Tour series, Regina and Janis spend the afternoon together, and have to face the lingering consequences of their actions.

"And when the bus hit and I heard you flat-line, everything just shifted. It felt like I woke up when you did. It made me realize just how checked out I had been over the years, and I saw how much you we're changing after you started to get better again. I was really happy to see that you are hanging out with Karen and Gretchen, but also that you and Janis were talking again. You were even giving her rides to school and stuff, right?" At Regina's nod, she said, "All that is good, so what happened? Why the angry music all of a sudden?"
Ninth in the Regina George Apology Tour series, Regina comes out to her mother as both a former bully and a lesbian.

Summary
"Wow! Karen wasn't kidding. So hot, Gretchen!" Janis said. The small giggle she got in response made her smile. Janis turned to Regina beside them. As promised, Regina wore a simple darker pink dress with short sleeves that went past her knees. There was a thick light pink sparkling belt around her waist that did little more than accessorize the look rather than have a function. Regina wore white boots with heels to them and her hair was down and lightly curled at the front. Janis tried to remember the Legally Blonde movie enough to remember that this was reminiscent of the final court scene.
After a quick once over, Janis asked, "You got into Harvard Law?"
Regina winked and replied, "What? Like it's hard?"
Tenth in the Regina George Apology Tour series, Cady hosts a Halloween party at her house.

Summary
Damian and Janis followed Mrs George into the grand living room and saw the rest of the friend group there. "Hey there, birthday girl," Damian sang, placing down his gift, a small gift bag with pink and purple tissue paper sticking out of it, onto the table with the rest. Regina rolled her eyes, but didn't say anything. "How does it feel to be legally able to buy cigarettes and porn?"
"Or join the military?" Karen asked from her spot on the largest couch, which she shared with Cady.
"Or drink, if you are in just about any other country but the USA?" Gretchen added.
"It's not the fun birthday, like a Sweet Sixteen. Or maybe it would have been, in my old life," Regina said.

"I don't think it's all a bad thing," Karen said after a moment.
"I don't think a girl being literally triggered by your kiss is a good thing, Kare."
"But she did kiss you back," Karen protested.
"Yeah, before the whole - you know - getting triggered part. Besides, I shouldn't have kissed her in the first place. I told her I'd give her time. I promise to let her decide who we were to each other, and then I fucked it up by making that move and scaring her further away from me.
Twelfth in the Regina George Apology Tour series, Regina tries to end her birthday on a better note, but she's still thinking about Janis.

Summary
Dr Harper nodded and let the words sink in before speaking again. "I won't lie to you Regina," Dr Harper said. "That is a possibility. Sure, it is possible that more time may be needed, but it's also possible that all of the time in the world won't change the way she feels right now. I think you already knew that you and Janis would never be the same as before, and you seemed okay with that as long as some kind of relationship built between you. Maybe it's time to consider the possibility of it just not happening. Janis may have thought she could forgive you over time, but being faced with the reality of it could have changed her mind." When Regina's face scrunched up in an attempt to fight back tears, the therapist added, "I don't mean to upset you Regina. I'm just presenting a very real conclusion to all of this with her."
Thirteenth in the Regina George Apology Tour series, Regina has another therapy session that leaves her conflicted on whether she should keep waiting on Janis or let her go completely.

Summary
She hated wondering, though:
What if she was hurting Regina now more than Regina could hurt her?
What if knowing better meant she wouldn't hurt as much as she's imagining?
What if Damian was right? What if the happiness of her time with Regina was worth any future pain?
And - Janis hated this one most of all - What if it's Janis who ends up fucking it all up, either now or any imagine future?
Fourteenth in the Regina George apology to her series, Janice has her own conflict within her.

Summary
"So Cady, you go to the bleachers or the library. She tends to touch up before either of those the past couple of weeks. Since it's not raining and only a little windy, she may go outside today. I'll go to Hollis's classroom to talk to Janis. Karen, take this," Gretchen gave Karen a ten dollar bill from her pocket she had planned to use for the vending machines between her last two classes, "and grab some cheese fries in case Regina does come by - though I doubt it. And Damian, you can just stay here if you want."
"Sitting pretty, my specialty," he said with a smile, toss of imaginary bangs out of his eyes. "Look at you, with your girl boss pants on today. It fits you."
"I... guess my meds are working," she said, looking away from the table. "Anyways, I'll go find Janis now. Cady, walk me?"
Fifteenth in the Regina George Apology Tour series, the remaining friend group switch things up in an attempt to get Regina and Janis back in the same room together.

Summary
Janis looked up when the door to the art room opened. She gave a bemused smile when she saw Gretchen slink in with a look of concentration and determination on her face. As her friend approached, Janis closed her sketchbook and focused on the baggie of trail mix and water she had brought with her for lunch. Gretchen sat beside her at the small table and let out a sigh. "Hey," Gretchen said.
"Hey."
"You okay?" Gretchen asked.
Janis shrugged. "Could be worse."
Sixteenth in the Regina Georgia apology Tour series, Gretchen acknowledges that though Regina may not be the same level of scared Janis is, maybe Gretchen can understand.

"You seem in a better mood this week, too," Karen said after she fastened her seatbelt.

"Why didn't you say anything?" Gretchen asked, wringing her hands nervously.
"Because neither of you did. I know you're having your sapphic dramas going on right now, and I already knew you weren't meeting up to play in clay together..."
Last in the Regina George Apology Tour series, Gretchen and Janis finally face their fears, but is it too little too late?
