Bruce wasn't expecting to see Batman at his door. He also wasn't expecting him to shove a lashing redheaded boy his way and grimly state:
"Stole tires"
Only two words, yet Bruce stilled, bound by ice-cold terror.
Batman places his big hand on the boys scrawny shoulder and persistently guides him forward, to Bruce. Before Wayne can process this statement and make up a response, Batman dissolves into shadows.
They're gonna have a talk about dropping off random kids by his door.
