Summary
After a devastating event in the middle of the Time Twins arc, Kai finds himself mysteriously transported back to the beginning of Ninjago’s timeline — waking in the wilderness with two young dragons, Ash and Surf, who share a soul-deep bond with him but don’t recall their origins. With memories up to Sky bound arc (even though he is from Twins of time arc, but he doesn't remember), but no clue how he got back, Kai must walk the line between changing fate and preserving the timeline. More mature, patient, and inwardly burdened, he makes it his mission to protect his loved ones from the pain he only remembers.
