Summary
"During one of their only haunting, fleeting moments of freedom, Kris had decided to play the piano like they used to do for Noelle, long before You had taken control of them. They were doing so without You're input as well, and they played without struggle or strife—without any noticeable pain or awkward, janky movements. It was so beautiful. Not just the songs they were playing, which were very wonderfully played, but the way they were playing was beautiful as well. They moved with the music, like a real pianist would. It was so hypnotic. It was so human. Best of all, it was so them—it was so Kris Dreemurr.
It was freedom, true and pure freedom..."
Or: The Player and Kris bond over a shared connection to music when Kris tears them out to use the Holiday's piano

Summary
"And hey, Battat? Good luck with production tonight, ya know, with the whole Mike situation and all. Do tell him I said hi, won't you?"
"What do you know, and how?" Battat whispered.
"You know, I'd love to spill the beans right here and now, luv, but I'm fairly certain you wouldn't want anyone else hearing all about your 'lil secret, now, would ya?"
Or; To me, Ramb was the supposed to be intended secret boss of Chapter 3, however, the reason he didn't get to be one was because he never got to keep the shadow crystal that was given to him. Thus, this lil oneshot is about how Ramb found a shadow crystal, got a little corrupted, and dragged Battat into his mess. Both Battat and Ramb het to learn a bit about the Horrors™ (Aka the Prophecy/Timeloop bc) through the shadow crystal before it disappears mysteriously in the night
Oh yeah, and it's also about Ramb and Battat being kinda gay (Ft. Polymikes)

Summary
"Physical affection or words of affirmation have never been Battat's strong suits.
He wasn't a touchy-feely individual. Don't get him wrong, he liked touch from time to time, and it often turned his brain off or made his whole body feel weird, in a good way. But he mostly liked to keep to himself. He always felt weird sharing his feelings or being clingy. Whenever he was too vulnerable, it felt like he was opening his skull for everyone to look at and inspect. It felt like he was a bug in a jar being observed or a medical patient being dissected for science. He wasn't a gift-giver either, not necessarily. He never knew what to give someone, and every time he tried, it always felt hollow to him. He liked spending time with others as well, but he also needed his alone time.
Naturally, acts of service as a love language came naturally to him."
Or: Battat's love language is acts of service... (Aka: 3+1 Things. 3 times Battat performed acts of service for his partners, and one 1 time they returned the favour)

Summary
"Battat loved his boss—more than he was willing to admit—but he was a handful to deal with sometimes.
Battat liked Tenna, sure, but he also liked routine. He followed the rules, sticking to them like gum on the underside of a table. He appreciated when things went smoothly and orderly, it satisfied the Order element inside him—the Luck element never got anything, so give him the other one at least, right? Tenna's wishy-washy schedules annoyed Battat to no end. He didn't mind when he would change his own plans, but he hated it when others neglected the plans they made together. If you asked Battat if he handled change well, he'd probably say he did, because his brain often needed a little spontaneity so he wouldn't get bored out of his mind, but in reality, he didn't handle change well at all.
He sucked at it, actually."
Or: Battat being autistic for 7K words :)

Summary
"Battat..."
"H-Huh? What is it, Mr. Tenna, sir?"
"I told you, you can just call me Tenna, remember? I don't mind! Um, and I was just wondering about something I noticed recently... I have noticed that you and the other 'Mikes' are really close. You're all pretty close with Ramb as well... You four hang out all the time and are just... well, close, for lack of a better word..."
"Yes... And?"
"Well, I was just- I just... I don't know. I was just wondering why that is?"
"Well, we've just known each other for a long time. So, I guess, we're just kinda comfortable with each other. And I mean, besides, why wouldn't we be? It'd be kinda weird if I wasn't close with my partners, right?"
"Partners?"
Tenna felt his heart sink at those words; it was as he feared.
Or: Mike was never a real darkner. He never actually existed, and Tenna found himself caught in a web of lies. Tenna lied to the Mikes just as much as they lied to him. After he figures out who the Mikes really are behind the costumes, he wants to get to know their real selves. Tenna, Battat, Pluey, and Jongler now just need to establish the lies from the truths
