Description:

A series exploring how Alex and Maggie met on each of the other 52 Earths. (One to Fifty-Two, plus Earth X, minus Earth Thirty-Eight.)

Notes:

This series is called 52 Times Alex and Maggie Met. It’s an exploration of what I think might have happened in each of the multiverse universes except for Earth Thirty-Eight, because we already know how Alex and Maggie met in our “home” universe. These Earths are strictly the Arrowverse Earths, which is to say that Earth One is where Barry Allen, Oliver Queen, the Legends, etc all exist. Earth X will also be covered in this series. (There will likely be a content warning for that one.)

Each part of the series is a one-shot. There will be no second chapters or continuations within the series, so please don’t ask. :) Once I’m done with all the Earths, I may do a smaller collection based on some of my favourites from this series but that’s a long way off.

This series will basically run the gamut. Sometimes Alex will be out and proud and sometimes she won’t be. Sometimes Maggie will be a cop and sometimes she won’t be. Kara may or may not exist in these universes. We know, for example, she doesn’t exist on Earths One, Two or Three, which are universes the Flash folks have visited.

Additionally, you may have trouble recognizing Alex and Maggie in some of these stories. Their backgrounds, what’s shaped them, are going to differ from story to story and that’s going to mean Alex and Maggie may not be quite who you’re expecting. I will strive to keep their dynamic intact, even if the characters are a bit different.

All 52 instalments of this series will deal with the two of them meeting and what might come of that initial spark. They might throw themselves at each other or they might not. This will explore a lot of possibilities.

As to which universe will be examined each time, that will be effectively random — I’m not going in order. The universes will have differences between them as well. Mostly just little things, available technology, names for certain things, different historical events. I won’t spend much time explaining these unless they’re central to the plot of the meeting. Most of these should be understandable without much explanation anyhow.
