You know the story. Well, at least people usually know the story: The tragic, sad, social outcast person in a modern world gets isekai'd into another, preferably one that involves magics and sinful-looking demons like that of Black Butler. The isekai protagonist is lost and aimless, or different from others in every way, but has the potential to become something greater. They meet good people along the way, friends who would support them in return. Their love interest immediately becomes intrigued by their "mysterious" background and otherworldly nonsense, realizing that there is no one quite like them. So they fall in love with the isekai protagonist, they get together, get married, have kids and live out whatever fantasies that the modern world could never give to them. It's a feel-good story motif dressed in wish fulfillment for the indulging reader. I suppose you will never understand the appeal, Ciel, but in the end, we all have monsters we want to free ourselves from. Isn't that right, Master Phantomhive?
Maybe in another world, you could be the world's greatest chess Grandmaster and not have to face any of your past troubles.
Maybe in another world, I could be happy. What can I say? A wish is a wish.

Perhaps it is caused by his constant observing he did of his siblings when he was younger and had nothing better to do; done with his studies that got far too boring and unable to get his parents attention, there was not much to do other than watch his siblings.

Ciel knows the man’s true nature, knows that behind the calm and polite facade of a butler lurks a starving predator eagerly waiting for his moment to pounce. Ciel knows Sebastian well. Which is why he is sure that Soma was seeing things when he had barged into his office and said that Sebastian is in love with his khansama. It is so far from a possibility that it is pitiful. This is perhaps the third time he’s stopped the demon from touching him tonight. This is a game they play sometimes, where Ciel says stop and Sebastian stops. Where Ciel pretends he doesn’t want to be touched, and so the demon doesn’t touch him. It makes his heart race. It’s comforting, even if Sebastian howls like an animal or whimpers like a dog, never touching him but looking at him like he’s the last piece of meat on earth. Denial looks good on a demon, Ciel has learned.
Sebastian is still knelt over him, looking half human, features flickering into something resembling the butler before returning to something dark and needing.
Ciel hums. “Kiss me,” He says, half demand, half plea. He’s so wet he can feel the inside of his thighs coating with slick, and his skin itches for the usual marks the demon leaves behind.
