Summary
After finding an injured Starly at Lake Verity near his hometown of Twinleaf, Sam is introduced to the elderly Professor Rowan; a world renowned professor of Pokemon. Convinced Sam was destined for greatness, Professor Rowan invited Sam and friends to his Pokemon Lab in Sandgem Town to receive their first Pokemon, and begin their Pokemon Journey.
Although Sam is reluctant to do so at first, he eventually takes up the quest of becoming a top Pokemon Trainer, and beating the Sinnoh League, ultimately leading him closer and closer to his destiny.

Also im not looking at Max Steel lore too much, i wana make as original story as possible.
