Summary
Summer brought Lancelot back to Arthur. He was different now, a creature of shadows. But as long as he was at Arthur’s side, it didn’t matter. The way sunlight weakened him and his eyes shone in the darkness, the way his teeth were sharp and he always smelled of blood— It didn’t matter.
Because summer also brought back Morgana’s war. With the threat of bloodshed looming over the horizon, trouble inside his court, and a traitor still on the loose, Arthur couldn’t let himself be distracted by his feelings for Lancelot. Feelings that would never be reciprocated anyway, because beside Lancelot, Merlin was there.
