Here in Pogtopia, he gets to know Wilbur. Not that he didn’t before, they were brothers after all, but…
Wilbur in Pogtopia is different. It’s like the careful, guarding layers he put up to keep Tommy safe have been ripped down with brute force, leaving the real Wilbur open to the air, open to infection, like a raw wound.
And infect it does. He watches his brother go from soft smiles and gentle songs to harsh frowns and shouting so loud it makes Wilbur’s throat hoarse.
Or: I was just thinking Thoughts about Wilbur and Tommy when I realised how well the song Goodbye fit c!Wilbur, and this was born
