Summary
Andrew remembers watching every one of his friends die. He remembers how his family died in similar fashions, all while he’s helpless to stop it from happening again. In an act of desperation and grief, he remembers placing the gun to his head and pulling the trigger. He expected it to end.
He wakes up in a snowy forest, without much memory on how or why it happened. But the smoking ashes of a recently burned stake catch his attention, and he soon is aware something is wrong. Only this time, there isn’t any escaping the horrors coming to the town of Little Hope. Caught in the middle of the lies and deception, Andrew must help his doppelgänger from the past to figure out who in their town is responsible for the murders each night and put a stop to the madness.

No, unknown to it's people, the Devil had nestled himself into the community, using the human name Abraham Alastor. For centuries he enjoyed tormenting the living, but none brought him more glee than a poor group in the 17th century. Thus, Abraham cursed Amy Lambert, Joseph Lambert, David Milton, Tabitha Milton, Rosemary Adams, and Mary Milton to be reborn again and again. Suffering at his hand.
Now four-hundred years after his initial curse, he arrives to Little Hope with the newest group of reincarnations. Do these versions stand a chance or will they fall like all the versions before them?

The idea is that the reader would've somehow gotten trapped in the past with Abraham looking after and protecting her until she's able to reunite with the present day group, but when it's time for her to return to the present with Andrew, Abraham finds himself hesitating to give her up because he's developed feelings for her.One other detail I'd like to mention for this fic is that the reader would be the doppelgänger of Abraham's late lover, who was falsely executed for being a witch. So maybe he'd eventually see her doppelgänger as being given a second chance?
