Summary
It's been six years since Ozai was defeated - and Katara is fed up with Aang. After ending their relationship due to his immaturity, she decides to travel to see the world again. After leaving the Western Air Temple, she begins her journey back south, and runs into the person that she was least expecting to see: Zuko.
As the Fire Lord, Zuko has worked hard the last six years to establish peace and make reparations for his father's transgressions. IN the midst of his work, Mai decides that she no longer wants the responsibility of being his consort-to-be, and takes off to travel with Ty Lee, ending their relationship. When he makes a diplomatic visit to an Earth Kingdom city, Zuko runs into the woman he's been thinking of for the last three years: The intelligent, terrifying waterbender from the Southern Water Tribe, Katara.
Will their past friendship and stolen glances turn into more? Will they find the safety and support they so desperately seek? And will those around them approve of their choice?
