Summary
Sometimes Aemond wonders what would happen if he simply left everything behind, the King, his mother, Aegon and Helaena. These thoughts come to him when he takes Vhagar out for a late night flight through the dark clouds, feeling the lightning close by.
The thought of disappearing into the Narrow sea for good, leaving nothing but Vhagar behind. Or would she join him in death? Plunge her large form into the waves with Aemond, roaring in pain, feeling her rider’s pain.
