Summary
After the fight on the mountain Jaskier, his heart freshly broken, vows to never befriend a Witcher again. Yet he cannot let the dying Witcher in the woods die. He and Aiden become fast friends and circumstances mean that they will have to winter in Kaer Morhen. Jaskier has not seen Geralt in almost a year, while Aiden pines for another wolf, who believes him dead.
