Despite what you (and everyone else at Hope’s Peak Academy) may think, Kokichi Ouma is a great friend.
He is intuitive and resourceful and great at knowing what people want. He loves giving gifts and helping the people he cares about. He always puts other people that he cares about above himself, even if it may not seem like that. After all, you don’t become the Ultimate Supreme Leader without caring about your subordinates.
But now, Kokichi Ouma is in a bit of a pickle.
He bites his thumbnail in frustration, keeping a close eye on the uncomfortable-looking detective in the desk a few rows ahead of him. He thinks to himself instead of paying attention to the teacher- he already knows the material anyways. Plus, it was much less important than the matter at hand.
Shuichi Saihara is way too hard on himself.

It’s not his normal uniform (which Rantaro should have been expecting), but what really strikes him silent is the lack of a hat on Shuichi’s head. His hair looks a bit messy, a cowlick bobbing around on top (Kinda like Kaede’s, Rantaro thinks), but it looks like the back of it is mostly pinned back somehow.
