An increase in cyberpsychos isn't all that unusual, but when some incidents start adding up in a short amount of time, it catches the attention of a certain detective.
While investigating one such incident, Fujita Gorō encounters an idiotic young man who keeps getting in his way continuously at every turn. The two agree to work together, temporarily, at least until they catch whoever is behind it all. Simple right?Sometimes it is in fact, not that simple.

"Hey you weren't much better! Remember how much you'd stumble over words when we'd talk out back? You always looked ready to run away, flighty little fox," The mirth in his voice was clear, especially as Lovell rounded the door again.
