Summary
Matteusz found Charlie Smith endearing and charming, yet behind that beautiful smile, he could see the hints of sadness in the smaller boy’s eyes. The boy was strange, but in a good way, from the rest of the assholes in Coal Hill. Someone to help keep Matteusz grounded when his home life was ripping apart at the seams.
Charlie found Earth to be difficult to adjust to, especially when the former alien was carrying an immense guilt in his heart that followed him like a ghost, but it was also so much more freeing than his former home. Especially after he met a very cute boy under the stars.

Summary
“Oh, Goddess,” Quill continued, eyes widening. “Lorr are shapeshifters. It could be a shapeshifter. What if it comes out and it’s an ostrich? Or something with antlers? What if it comes out looking like a fucking Rhodia? Because I swear, if it does, I’m dying on the spot.”
Matteusz laughed despite himself. Quill gave him an annoyed look, but couldn’t hide the smirk tugging at the edge of her lips. “I’m serious,” she said, then looked down at her stomach again. “You stop that. Ow.”
Matteusz cares for Quill during an important time in her pregnancy, and finds himself cared for in turn.
