Summary
The Esli region is a prosperous archipelago, where Pokemon live together, work together, and do their best to be happy.
Unfortunately, like most Pokemon region, Esli has dark secrets lurking beneath its waves and under its shores. And, naturally, those dark secrets have decided to make a group comeback.
Enter Leopold Andwraith, an eighteen-year-old street-thief Sableye living off whatever he can snag... until the authorities finally catch him, with some assistance. Said assistance, a Dragonite named Alessandra, offers him a lifeline to keep him out of jail.
He had no idea what he was getting into.
She had no idea what she was getting him- or the other eleven young Pokemon she's recruited- into either.
But with a pirate king on the rise, divisions beginning to form between the idyllic region's people, and the appearances of Pokemon strong enough to devastate entire settlements...
Well, she did recruit these kids to train them into defenders of peace.
