The first time he’d even seen the warriors’ den, Finchpelt had thought it was massive.
The apprentices’ den had been small, cramped. The warriors’ den, by comparison, was heavenly. It looked larger than anything Finchpelt had ever seen, and he’d wondered how he was ever supposed to fill up moss beds that big.
Now, a full-grown warrior, Finchpelt felt like the den had gotten ten times smaller.
