Summary
“Raphael,” there was a pause. “...would I be correct to assume that you understand what I’m attempting to convey here?” it wasn’t a question, despite the deceptive framing. Raph understood–his gaze flickered across the canvas erratically as he analyzed the story stained across the woven fabric.
Realistically, there was no way to misinterpret this–Splinter has practically spelled it out to him–but still, Raph let himself search the scene, desprate for there to be some other interpretation hidden between painted lines.
There was none.
Or where a well-meaning Master Splinter tries to teach Raphael an important lesson only to fail miserably. Problems ensue.
