Summary
Standing on tiptoes, Lin Ling brings his other hand up to hold the face of his muse, forehead to forehead, nudging his nose into a cold, unforgiving cheek. His breath fans out over marble lips — quirked into a coy smile, mysterious, lovely. An invitation. As close to perfect as Lin Ling can possibly hope to achieve as a mere mortal man trying to make the divine tangible.
Insane or not, I can’t bring myself to regret it.
