Summary
Nailed It: A phrase indicating success. May alternatively be used as an ironic response to a situation that goes exceptionally poorly.
Eliot usually makes good first impressions, especially on ladies, but I guess everyone has an off day now and again. Ava isn't sure she wants to be around a guy that can have THAT kind of an off day.Series

Summary
"Eliot couldn't remember the last time he'd been on a normal date. Though maybe, he thought, this wasn't a normal adult date so much as it was a normal high school date. He'd brought her flowers and picked her up, they had gone to get dinner, and then ice cream, and now, on the way back to the car, they were stopping to watch fireworks. All that was missing was the county fair and Shania Twain blasting from a passing pick-up truck."
In an effort to overcome a bad first impression, Eliot tries something different. This follows my story "Nailed It," but can be read alone.
