Summary
Knives and Vash were all you had left from your time on the ship, and those days filled with joy and camaraderie between you and the boys is now long gone. Those times are nothing more than whispers of the past that grow hazier with each passing day. It becomes harder to remember what Knives had been like before or if he'd ever been different at all. Perhaps he'd always been this way and you just hadn't seen it. You're not sure. Vash has stayed relatively the same, however, and it's something you're immensely thankful for. You find comfort in each other, confused by Knives' sudden shift in behavior and still grieving the loss of Rem. But where once only flowers of platonic love bloomed now grows something new.
