Summary
This is basically a Pocahontas AU, so things will be quite different from the games;
1. The war has only been going on for about 4 years, a long time, but nowhere near the length as it was in the games and humans are not on the brink of extinction.
2. I wanted to expand on Locust as a whole so though they have a more violent nature, they aren't cruel. They do not capture and torture humans.
3. Locust women and children exist and there are even elderly Locust.
4. Many Locust have learned to understand the human language, but most have trouble truly speaking it without talking in broken sentences.
5. So Baird is Queen Myrrah son in this story so he resembles her slightly, he has the same skin tone as her and his hair is mostly a similar color to her. He also dresses in either dark red or a pale white, he hasn't adopted his signature blue to his clothes yet. He also has fairly long black fingernails. His name is mostly spelled Baiirad (unless spoken by Marcus or one of the other human characters) to sound more Locust-like and Im figuring the pronunciation is something kinda like bay-i-rad with a slight growl to the r.
