Summary
'If you're reading this, my name is Zephyr and I'm stuck on a planet with magic and necromancers and cat-people. I lost my friend Celena at FanExpo FantasyCon, and I don't know what I'm doing here, but there's a thing called an 'Astrolabe' stuck in my chest and I should have called my parents a few days ago and I'm starting to lose my shit about it all. My phone is dead, but I'm near a place called Porrima. PLEASE SEND HELP!'
I capped the bottle and flung it overhand into the ocean as far as I could, watching the sunlight twinkle off the green glass as it spiraled over the waves.
Sage bumped up next to me, and we watched it plunk into the water together. "What was that about?"
I crossed my arms and shivered. "Don't worry about it."

Zephyr was an escapist. Whether it was the monotony of her café job, her lonely city apartment, the lingering sting from her ex's contempt, or her life unravelling and slipping through her fingers-at least her favorite game would always be there. But when she crashed head first in Astraea with no way out, even her wildest fantasies coming true would force her to confront her best self and worst fears. -

Summary
Uptight and rather reserved, Lee Maehwa never imagined that cosplay conventions could be their scene. It’s not that she hates fun, but her hobbies had taken a backseat for as long as she poured her focus and energy into her medical career. However, with enough convincing (and a promise to pay for dinner) from their childhood friend, Mae decides to take a break, dress up pretty, and reconnect with a long-abandoned interest just as the second installment of the Last Legacy videogame is to be announced at FanExpo Fantasy-Con.
Little did they know this fun little trip would turn into something far more adventurous (and deadly) than what they had bargained for. -

Summary
Sage Lesath had a pleasant childhood in Althal: he pranked his neighbors, got scolded by his grandfather, and listened to the cicadas chirp with his sister Tulsi.
He felt like he did not need to rush growing up.
There would be a time for that in the future.
