They haven't had sex for weeks. Not since they found out about the eggs.
"I'll hurt you," Kaveh says.
"Sex is only unsafe in the last few weeks of carrying eggs," Alhaitham reminds him.
Which is true, but...
Kaveh's tail lashes and whips at the sheets. His claws are blunted, but even so they knead and work the bedsheets with such force the fabric might rip.
Alhaitham is so small, is the thing. So light. It seems like everyone forgets because his personality is so quietly large, but Kaveh has not once forgotten.
Alhaitham is carrying Kaveh's eggs, but he still wants sex.
