Summary
“I think he has, Houndy,” Walter said, bringing his flesh hand up to caress the side of their face. “You’ve accomplished a lot within his name and you’re a damn good fighter…a freakin’ warrior at that!”
Bloodhound gave him a breathy chuckle. “You’re too kind, mitt Walter.”
“Yours, ay?’ the grenadier boasted, grinning at the blush spreading across the other’s cheeks.
Pleased that Walter caught onto the use of their native language, the tracker found a sudden urge of confidence and leaned forward to press their forehead against his which caused their lips to brush slightly. “If we are now together as you would say, you will know that I am very possessive of things that are mine.”
“I think I can get behind that,” Walter whispered against their lips, his eye lidded as he watched them closely. “You’re bloody stuck with me.”
