Summary
John returns to England still recovering from his injuries at Krefeld. Meanwhile there are agents who would rather he did not survive his wounds at all.
His brother, Hal, determines that he would be safer at Helwater than in London and arranges with the Dunsanys for Jamie Fraser to be his personal bodyguard.
Neither man is keen on this arrangement. The fact that it has been decided that Jamie should share a room with John is one of those reasons. -

Summary
Percy Wainwright contemplates his life choices in prison, knowing the only way he will get out alive is through John Grey's goodwill. Meanwhile, John is trying really hard to convince himself he doesn't love Percy. Tom Byrd likes both of them a lot more than he should and is willing to go miles just to see them happy again.
A fix-it for Brotherhood of the Blade, where things get mended with Tom Byrd's professional contribution.

Summary
Quote from Lord John and the Brotherhood of the Blade by Diana Gabaldon:
“He remembered nothing but the shock of impact as Fraser’s fist struck the boards an inch from his head, and the sob of breath, hot on his face.”
What if Fraser’s fist had struck its target?
Who would rue their words and actions the most?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Summary
What would have happened if John never went to Helwater to attend Geneva Dunsany's funeral? What if, instead, he stayed in London and got to know Percy Wainwright better? What if both of them were just a bit more honest and a bit more willing to talk?
A sort-of fix-it to BotB, because apparently Jeff Woodman's soft, breathy Percy ate my brain and now I ship them. Go and listen to the audiobook if you don't know what I'm talking about ;) This is for all those who perhaps always liked Percy while I frowned and glared at him from the corner.
A huge thanks to @geekinthepink for the beta and the title <3
This work fills my "Hal Grey Lord Melton" square for the Outlander Bingo 2020
