Boq raised his hand, “Boq Woodsman.” He gave his best smile.
“Fiyero Tigelaar,” Fiyero took the munchkin's hand, shaking it.
When their hands were released, Boq lowered himself into his best bow. He was unsure how it looked, he had never really bowed in front of anyone before. Let alone actual royalty.
Fiyero laughed awkwardly, “there's, uhm, no need for all that.”
Boq lifted himself up, noting that the prince held himself quite anxiously. He shifted his feet a lot, and his eyes darted around constantly. He kept clenching and unclenching his fist.
He was expecting the prince to be more care-free, extroverted. He thought the prince would make a spectacle of his arrival, possibly on horseback or in a carriage. He certainly was not expecting a nervous wreck.

When prince Fiyero arrives at Shiz, he is not at all what Boq initially thought he would be. The prince is quiet, unsure of himself, anxious. He liked the company of himself and himself alone. However, Boq was asked to be his roommate.
But is there more to this prince than what meets the eye?

Chased out of Ev by the law and wanted for being openly pro-Animal in an increasingly anti-Animal land, The Charmed Circle is known to the rest of the world for being "as filthy as the Animals they parade around with". Led by 25-year-old Boq Woodsman and his right hand, 26-year-old Elphaba Thropp, or the Tinman and the Witch (both nicknames determined for their terrifying accuracy and ability to wield/use their weapons), they arrive in Gillikin of Oz- the harsh northern weather is unkind to their already battered crew. They find what they believed to be an abandoned homestead, only to discover 25-year-old Glinda Upland being chased down by her ex-husband. After saving the mysterious Upland and taking her into their crew, they head further south and settle by the small town of Nest Hardings. When they discover that Oz has just as many problems as Ev, the Circle is determined to do something about it and take down Morrible & Diggs, who hold the land in an iron vice.
Elphaba is faced with demons from both her past and her future, and Glinda is hiding more about herself than she is letting on. Their paths are more intertwined than either of them realizes.
