The Hulk is just a mindless beast, an embodiment of Banner's anger.
Contrary to popular belief, Banner is far from a physically weak, socially withdrawn, and emotionally reserved physicist.
He is a lot more than that, at least, he knows what he is doing when he "unintentionally" hulked out.
