Summary
Red, a color most found beautiful - a rose blooming in the sun, a cardinal flying by the window, a juicy apple freshly picked - but Xiao was not one of them. The cursed color haunted his life day in and day out. No matter where he went it followed him like a ghost, terrorizing his life and forcing him to distance himself from others. Xiao *hates* the color red, the sight of it alone enough to make him sick, and so he does his best to avoid it. Normally it's easy to keep himself away from humans and therefore their blood, but an already lonely heart that misses the warmth of the sun is weak when the sun smiles so brightly at it.
