There he meets the Lazarus Morningstar that never had him to melt his non-existent heart — the perfect prodigal prince of hell. Along the journey to claw himself back into his original reality while preventing the death of his daughter's fiance, he also meets Mercury and all their friends. Though Mercury is his daughter, he is not her father, only a stranger frozen at her church's gates.
Needless to say, it is harder to stay alive than you might think when nobody knows you, and you know everybody. ]
