Summary
While watching The Walking Dead, Lori Adams just HAD to throw a challenge out there to the universe. What challenge, you ask? Well, everyone knows that Lori Grimes didn't make the best choices in the show. She might have criticized her just a 'little' bit and declared that any other Lori could do better and make better choices than Lori Grimes did. Specifically:
"Of course I could do better than Lori Grimes did. Make better decisions. Live better. Anyone could, but I damn sure would!”Lori is extremely surprised to find out the universe--or at least the system talking to her in her head--took her VERY seriously. Not only that, but her own world depends on her saving this one...as Lori Grimes. Her first major challenge is to keep Rick Grimes and Shane Walsh alive and friends on the same page. United.
Yeah, no problem. It's not like it's the end of the world (or multiple worlds) if she fails. Her and her big mouth and her famous last words.

“Careful there, sugar,” he drawls. “Don’t want the big man gettin’ his panties in a twist.”
“Stay out of this, Merle,” Shane snaps, his glare shifting briefly toward him.
“Hey, I’m just here for the show,” Merle says, holding up his hands innocently.
“Though I gotta say, she’s got more sense than half the folks here.” Shane’s fists clench, but Glenn steps in before things escalate further.
“Okay, enough,” he says, his voice firm. “We’ve got enough problems without fighting each other.”
Shane glares at me like this is my fault. Fine. I’ll play along. Merle chuckles softly, shaking his head as he wanders off toward the tents.
“Thanks for that,” Glenn mutters, looking at me. “You sure know how to make an impression.”
I sigh, sinking back onto the log. “I’m not here to make friends, Glenn. I’m here to stay alive.”
“And what about Milo?” he asks, nodding toward the boy, who’s now watching me with wide, uncertain eyes.
His fingers twitch against his bracelet, his gaze flicking between me and Shane.
“He needs more than survival.”

Dr. Cassidy Ellen Frost was content with her life; the only issue was her overbearing mother and what comes with it, such as the woman blowing into hysterics when Deacon, the youngest of the Frost children, has been gone a bit too long on a camping trip with a friend. Wanting to point an end to her mother’s panic, Cassidy takes leave from her job at the CDC to go looking for her wayward brother, but with no experience in the Georgian wilds, she gains the assistance of a local and experienced hunter, Daryl Dixon, in exchange, he asks for cash to fund his goal of purchasing a motorbike.
