Tiempo atrás, Cuphead y Mugman fueron reconocidos como los héroes de Inkwell, enfrentándose a desafíos que marcaron la historia de la isla. Esa nueva relación los llevó a tomar una decisión importante: aceptar un trabajo como meseros dentro del casino. Cuando el casino trasladó sus operaciones a Inkwell City para investigar extrañas anomalías, los hermanos taza se mudaron junto con todos los empleados. Entre apuestas, secretos y emociones contenidas, Cuphead y King Dice, así como Mugman y Devil, verán sus caminos cruzarse de una manera que ninguno de ellos anticipó.
