Summary
After achieving the False Pacifist ending, Frisk left the Underground to return to their little sister Celest, who was left with their abusive parents. They simply wished to check on her, before LOADing their previous save and trying again...
However, they found that their magical abilities were impossible to use if not in the vicinity of Monsters. Tragically, their parents kept them from returning, leaving Asgore dead, the six human souls lost, and Toriel queen.
15 years later, Frisk passes away, an event long-coming since a tragic incident in their childhood. Their final request was for Celest to take their soul and journey underground, saving those they abandoned all those years ago. But she finds herself not in the wonderland Frisk described, but in a place best described as purgatory…a place that now knows only of magical drought and despair…
What went so wrong in the years since Frisk’s fall…? Does Celest have any means of escape from this hell…? Without Frisk’s DETERMINATION to keep them alive, will Chara survive long enough to guide Celest all the way through…? Can Celest and Chara truly trust their newfound companions...?
Most importantly…is monsterkind still worth saving?
