Summary
On the continent, Lara Dorren is widely known for her tragic love story that brought humans and elves against each other. A select few also recognize that she is the source of Ciri's exceptional powers. But none seems to remember what her life was really like before her bitter demise.
A year into her reign, Ciri is troubled by unique dreams that make her relive the long-forgotten memories of Lara. The young empress now has to find a balance between establishing herself as the ruler she wishes to be and making peace with her powers.
