So being a single dad for the last 9 years has been rough. His daughter is finishing up the end of her junior year in high school and he will soon be alone in his big farm house.

After the war, Ray, on the other hand, was restless, unsettled and decided to use his photography talents to travel the world, never staying in one place for more than a few days. He'd decided to use his camera to create beauty, instead of horror, such as he witnessed in Anzio, and on the shores of Normandy. So while paying his respects to Harold's lovely wife, Charlene, Ray has decided to photograph this beautiful, untouched patch of America, stay a few days, and then move on.
