I am changing this back to a reader insert. it'll take some time because ao3 does take a moment to update and I actually do have to paste the updated versions of each chapter.
(Y/N) is the adopted older sister of Charlie Bucket, and she's perfectly content working at the local candy shop, surrounded by sugar and sticky-fingered regulars.
She's always admired Mr. Wonka's legacy-just like Charlie-but never expected to see it up close. Then come the golden tickets, the factory crowds, and the chaos that spills out onto the street and into her life.
Oh-and there's the mysterious man who keeps slipping fancy chocolate bars into her purse when she's not looking.
When Charlie finds the final ticket, everything changes.
Will Wonka live up to the legend? Or will (Y/N) discover that some doors shouldn't be opened-even chocolate ones?
