Summary
As the rainy season swept over Seoul, it also brought forth the harsh realities of life for the young singer. Jongho, a modest college student working at a bar nestled in the depths of a darkened alley, found himself burdened by the relentless challenges life threw at him.
The same sound of his alarm clock piercing through the silence, signaling the start of another grueling day. The smell of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air, a feeble attempt to awaken his senses from the fog of exhaustion. The weight of his responsibilities hanging heavily on his shoulders, like a relentless tidal wave crashing down upon him, its deafening roar drowning out all other sounds.
He feels as if he’s drowning—panic clawing at him; his lungs burn, and he gasps for air as the darkness consumes him.
Yet, amidst the darkness, a glimmer of light flickers at the surface, offering a fleeting glimpse of hope. He knows he can’t resurface without help, but it’s okay to ask for help to get to that light.
However, within that light, there is also darkness. There always is.
