Background info: I just participated in Western University’s Brain Function & Media Use in Adolescents Research Study where I watched a few videos of a triangle, a rhombus, and a circle moving around the screen in some way. There was a box in the middle that could be opened and closed by the shapes. I had to watch them moving around and click whether they were “moving randomly” (so bouncing randomly around the screen) or “interacting” (no actual text was on the screen, but they moved as if communicating with one another, worked together to achieve goals, etc). This fic takes place in maybe the third ish video, in which Triangle and Rhombus corner Circle, force him into The Box, and trap him there (interacting). All of the shapes were two dimensional and had no body parts.
Written while waiting for my Mum to pick me up from Western.
