After returning to 1986, Doc realizes that he did not quite get to the present he anticipated. And, to his horror, his faithful companion, Marty McFly, is absent from the passenger’s seat. Now Doc must repair the Delorean and fix the timeline with the help of an unexpected set of hands.
First few chapters are a rewrite of "What Did I Tell You? It's Like Utopia!" After the first few chapters are rewritten, it will continue on.

Summary
After returning to 1986, Doc quickly learns that something is wrong-very wrong. Instead of his Hill Valley from his 1986, something had changed in 1931 leading to this new 1986, one where Hill Valley is a surveillance state. Left with a wrecked Delorean and his Marty McFly seemingly gone, Doc has to navigate this new Hill Valley, put the Delorean back in working order, and fix the past to repair his future.
Kind of a roleswap(?) for the video game. Basically what if, instead of Doc disappearing in episode III, Marty disappears. Major spoilers for the video game, of course!
