Summary
Those who would judge them for being too different didn't know Lava like he did. He built up walls around himself to feign nonchalance and act like his existence was a joke. He painted himself as obnoxious before anyone else could label him as such. Buried underneath layers of false arrogance lay a man who didn't know how to love himself because nobody had ever taught him.
Wave didn't know who he was. But he knew one thing for sure. He was sent by some higher power to meet Lava on this island, so they could complete each other in ways they never imagined.
