Summary
Before he's about to undergo Erskine and Stark's experiment to make him the perfect soldier, Steve decides to have a drink at a local bar close to the base. He knows his best friend is already far away, and he doesn't have much of anyone else to bond with. That's why he's surprised to find himself with a new friend, a soldier from Canada on a bit of a break from the front before going back. Logan is surprised to meet up with the unlikeliest soldier he's ever seen, and he's been around a long enough time to have seen plenty of strange things and people. Neither can explain the pull toward each other, but they don't want to resist it either. Two men who'll find each other from Jersey to the warfront and through the strands of time.
