Summary
Julian Bashir has been running from his past for half his life. When it catches up with him and his travelling companions are cursed, he vows to do whatever it takes to free them. As it turns out, what it takes is handling, and making cloth from, a highly painful variant of nettles native to Cardassia, which is as invasive to the land of Bajor as the Cardassians themselves had been.
Reaching Bajor is the easy part. Once there, not only must he contend with the highly unpleasant nettle variant, but also the machinations of those who would prefer he did not succeed in breaking the curse himself. Eventually, his journey will take him to the coastal town of Deep Sands, and a Cardassian exile with secrets of his own, who is nevertheless willing to give aid to a mysterious, silent stranger.Series
