It follows canon until the final episode when time is frozen in the Old Armoury, and picks up the tale from there.
I've written something similar to this before. But I figure, hey - you can never have too many fix-it fics, right?

This is not a fic but a slightly expanded and hopefully more organised and coherent version of this tumblr rant on my thoughts about Haven’s tendency to prioritise fathers and minimise mothers in its storytelling. (This isn’t unique to Haven, obviously; this is what a patriarchal culture does.)

Much as I may cry my eyes out every time I watch them, I absolutely love the final two episodes of Haven. But since nothing is ever perfect, these are the little differences I would really loved to have seen.
