A year after Crocodile relocated his family to a small village protected by the phoenix Marco, the yearly mating season is almost only a day or two away. Ace, who is head over heels for the village guardian, is asked by Nami to help out when she’s sent by the village to help Marco during this time.
Even though he’s not happy about it Ace agrees, as a favour to a friend.
Thankfully, the situation ends up far more in his favour than he could have ever hoped. If only the reason Ace and his family moved in the first place wasn’t a problem… -
