Summary
Prince Aziraphale of Eden loves books- they've been a constant source of companionship and comfort in a life that is otherwise undeniably cold. His family tolerates him, and none of his relationships have ever panned out- not the ones his family's tried to set him up with, or even the ones he tried for on his own until he realized finding interest in him rather than his title was harder to come by than he'd hoped.
Crowley doesn't have much invested in books- at least, not in most books. There's one he's quite fond of for the lifeline it gave him when he was small, but other than that his mother's library isn't of much interest to him. He's busy with his plants, his magic, and his business- and sure, he's wanted more than that and it hasn't worked, but it's not any good for him to dwell on that, is it? There's not many people willing to be seen openly in public with someone like him, not in a small village at any rate, and he loves Tadfield.
Without Agnes Nutter's vision, the two of them might never have met, and that would have been a tragedy- but this isn't a tragedy. It's a Christmas story, and they're both going to get exactly what they need. (64% complete; will be updated again when it's complete)

While sunning himself after hunting prey, Crowley finds something that looks like a human contraption, a compas, but wrapped in what can only be the tentacle of a jelly. A very large jelly at that. Perhaps even another type of merfolk?
Intrigued, he decides to return the compass to its owner or at least try, given the depths of the ocean.
When he does meet the owner, he's rather overwhelmed, in more ways than one.
