Hanbin offered him a cherry while putting one in his mouth, the little juice that popped out staining his lips a bright red. Hao's eyes dropped down but quickly looked back up when he noticed Hanbin was waiting for him.
“Oh thank you but I think I'll pass, I'm not really a big fan of cherries”
The second Hao said the last few words, silence surrounded the table. All eyes were on him and nobody moved.
He looked around in confusion, not really knowing what just happened. And when he looked back at Hanbin, hoping he would see his bright smile again, he was still met with a smile but it looked a bit baffled.
“You don't like cherries?”

“Please,” Hanbin says it in a breath, his eyes squeezing shut as his head drops further down, “Don’t go on that date.” He takes Hao’s hands and places them up to his cheek, smushing them into the swell of them, letting his burning hot flesh dance on Hao’s touch, “I want you to only look at me.”

Is Sung Hanbin uptight? Most people around him think he is constantly too busy trying to achieve perfection— always busy with practice, always studying, always on the frontline of extracurricular activities, always polite yet never over the top, too eloquent and never out of words. Prim and proper. Always giving but never taking. The ideal, impeccable, pure and pristine golden boy that is never moody but always kind and friendly. Some even think he’s too nice, boring even. Zhang Hao was one of them.
Sung Hanbin, however, was nowhere near uptight or boring when he was below Zhang Hao, voice high and pitchy as he whimpered, his neck and collarbone filled with marks.

"I always think the world is going to end," Zhang Hao comments. "Like, actually end. I've been through more apocalypses than I can count but the plane just spits us back out like normal afterwards. Surely one of those apocalypses has to be real. Eventually."
Hanbin kicks his squashed can away, watching it ricochet across the wall before it skids to a stop on the tiles. "Says who?"
"What, you think this can go on forever? With no end in sight?"
Hanbin shrugs. "I don't see why not. It's not like we have a rule book here."
Hanbin isn't quite as old as the universe itself, but he's getting there.
