Summary
The three legendary beasts, Entei, Raikou, and Suicune, have roamed the land for centuries. Their power and mystery have come to be known across the world leading to others craving their power. Eusine is such a person. He connects with Morty to eventually find the elusive beasts and make Suicune his. However, a falling out between the two destroys what little chance Eusine has at his dream. Though Morty does give him one more chance, the Divine Beasts Trial of Three.

After Morty's falling out with Eusine, he is visited by the three legendary beasts. At the end of all three visits, the beasts offer Morty the chance to administer a sacred trial to see if Eusine is worthy to have an audience with them.
