Metropolis’ weather has been on the fritz the last couple days, leaving Clark and his powers feeling a little under the weather. He is so used to taking care of other people, he often forgets to take care of himself.
So, when Clark gets hurt, Bruce is left to take care of him and his slightly self-destructive tendencies.

Clark’s eyes are boring into the side of his skull, so he gives him a quick glance and a raised brow.
“I didn’t get your name,” Clark says. The only reason why Bruce actually believes him is because of how earnestly he speaks. Not to sound full of himself, but you’d have to be living under a rock to not know who Bruce is after four years on this campus.
Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise. No preconceived notions, no expectations. For the first time since his parents died, Bruce is on even footing with a stranger; Bruce knows the same amount of information about Clark that Clark does about him—nothing.
“It’s Bruce,” he says.
Clark leans back in his seat, arms crossed over his chest, satisfied. “Good to meet you, Bruce.”
Or: Bruce Wayne meets Clark Kent in a photojournalism class. The story practically writes itself.

He comes in the night.. a horrible monster! Human.. thing? Big scary ghost coming to eat people?! Who knows?
Bruce does, and he’s secretly thriving in it. Maybe he’ll play into this one. Oh, and possibly collect a few children on the way.
A comedy mixed with some angst, a story of creating his own family that would make his parents proud.
